The basic principle of Modelling4All is creating simulations of environments based on programming behaviour for the individuals in the system rather than the system as a whole, this can allow for interesting and unforeseen results to arise from agents (individuals) that are given simple instructions. It has a library of micro-behaviours that can be assigned to agents, many of these make Modelling4All applicable in more subjects than just the IT field, for example modelling ecosystems and infection in a society for Biology, also both human and animal societies. If the model is programmed to make certain variables adjustable while it is running, then users can explore in what way changes can affect the balance for themselves. |
