Infinite Objects Created by Infinite
Processes
Activities where students
- program infinite processes that create infinite streams of
numbers,
- apply operations to these infinite streams,
- invent and apply mathematical definitions,
- publish reports and comment on each other's findings and
understandings (WebLabs web reports).
The challenge was to
- design a learning trajectory that exposes learners to the
big ideas
- re-conceptualise the knowledge so that learner created
computations play a central role.
